We might be getting another dog! EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing else can make me so excited like a schoolgirl! Except… well nevermind. So I realize I already have a dog, but somehow it doesn’t seem like it. I dunno, she’s not my dog… and she is pretty challenging! So, maybe getting a second dog isn’t the best idea, but I am actually hoping it will help her a lot, since her issues mostly involve a lack of socialization. Now I have to make sure she’s up to snuff, a good enough influence to play the mom/big sister role! We might end up thinking better of it but until then I will burst with glee at the prospect. It’s all my boyfriend’s fault for bringing it up!
The one thing I don’t understand is how he can say he hates pomeranians. My heart is not set or anything, but it’s what I pictured… :D
I REALLY resent the watermark on this one!
What I REALLY want though is a pomchi!
A normal chihuahua would be great too
Breeds I would also like to own:
I KNOW I AM FORGETTING SOME!
Can you tell I spent years looking longingly at dog breed books as opposed to petting actual dogs?
MY TIME HAS COME. MUAHAHAHA
In reality I always wanted a big dog, but now I finally realize big dogs can’t sit on your lap very well!
This is an old picture Julie found of me! I look back on the Christmas Store as good times. Who knew?
I like the panda dog, he’s great.

What type of dog did you end up getting?
I know that big dogs are not all that good at sitting on your lap, but i am very fond of big dogs because their cuddly.
If you cant decide on what dog that is the right size for you then maybe you should go with a medium sized dog.
A medium sized dog is a dog that is noth that small and not that big but the perfect sizei recomend a boston terrier very friendly and loving dogs to their master .
Well what ever you choose good luck with it!
GOOD LUCK :)

I didn’t end up getting a puppy yet actually! I do have another dog who is a bit of a handful, so I need to train her better to get her ready for me to introduce another beast into the pack! :)
Do you have a big dog? I like big dogs too, but I thought my big dog would like a little dog friend :)

I just found this post and although its super old…
What is the breed of the dog pictured below the mohawked dog? This looks almost exactly my dog and she is absolutely the best dog I’ve ever had.

The one below the mohawked dog is a pomchi, or so the website I came across said. (Long-haired chihuaha and Pomeranian) It definitely appears to have more of a larger spitz involved as well. ‘Pomchis’ always look so different than eachother!
I am jealous of your super cute dog!!!!

Just wanted to let you know that the photo you snagged off the net is my little dog! His name is Mr. French and he will be turning 6 tomorrow! My husband took this photo of him on a trip we took to Yosemite. We adopted Mr. French from Rich Kennels, Billings, MO 65610,when he was 10 months old. He is the love of our life next to our sons of course! LOL Glad you liked our photo. This is my favorite photo to date of him! Do you own a Shih Tzu?
Best wishes, Marilyn from Long Beach, California

Which shih tzu is yours? I will credit it:) I have not gotten a puppy yet, after all this time! I do have a medium sized dog, a shepherd chow cross. I need to get her a little better trained before I can introduce another dog into our pack!!
Thanks for all the information… Happy Birthday Mr. French!!

27th photo you have here–the one with the dog walking on a wooden planked bridge (It was at Yosemite.) Wow you have some really adorable photos here–lots of really cute dogs–but of course I am partial to the Shih Tzu:)
